Overhead and underground line services
We provide both overhead and underground power line maintenance and repair services for electric utilities, independent power producers including , wind farms, transportation, and roadway electrical and telecommunication infrastructure. Our knowledgeable and highly skilled red seal linemen install, maintain and repair overhead transmission and distribution lines involving pole installation, line extensions in new developments , replacements for upgrade of existing services, and storm repair services. Our Transmission and Distribution services cover both high and low voltage installations from 600V up to 500KV and we are experts in the erection of lattice and mono pole structures including footings and interconnections to the transmission/distribution grids and wind farm collection systems.
Line and substation construction and maintenance
NOREASTER Power Services has your solutions to engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance for all of your substation needs. We offer our services to both the private and public sectors. NOREASTER has extensive experience in substation design, construction, retrofit, repair, and maintenance including all aspects of testing and commissioning.

Prior to founding NOREASTER Power Services, Brad worked for Regional Power as Senior Construction Manager for the construction of a 10km 138KV private transmission line from Alaska into British Columbia, Canada. Brad started his career with Emundston Energie where he achieved lead hand status after only one year as a journeyman. NS Power sought out Brad’s skill set and expertise to analyze and implement a correction strategy at three maintenance depots with low productivity and low team moral. He transformed them into the most productive maintenance depots in the province within three years. Brad was promoted to Senior Field Supervisor T & D where he took on many senior roles and was nominated for 13 awards of excellence of which he won four. Brad became the storm lead for NS Power linesman crews that traveled across Canada and the USA looking after logistics, work load, safety and liaise with the host utility to return power to their customers after storm events.
